As we investigated the theme of the faked birds in the Hastings Rarities scandal we realized that the story allowed us the perfect opportunity to create a new self portrait. Here we explore ideas of the uncommon and the mythical. In this image we have become a couple of exceptional birds of large size with prominent and powerful beaks.
